Ukrainian Vegetable Group announces a new partnership with the "Delikat" store chain, which operates in Cherkasy and the Cherkasy region. The cooperation will expand the presence of UVG's vegetable produce in retail and make it more accessible to shoppers in the region.
The journey that begins in the field
For UVG, the journey of vegetables to the customer begins in the field. The company cultivates 322 hectares of agricultural land, on which it grows a range of vegetable crops.
Pavlo Kononenko, Head of Cultivation at UVG, is responsible for organising these processes. Together with the team, he ensures operations at all the main stages: from soil preparation and sowing to crop care and harvesting.
However, harvesting vegetables is only the completion of one stage in a large production process. After the field, the produce goes into storage, undergoes preparation for dispatch, and sets off to retail partners.
UVG has vegetable storage facilities with a total area of 7,200 m² and a storage capacity of up to 10,000 tonnes of produce. This is an important component of the company's full cycle, which makes it possible to provide proper storage conditions and organise supply.
A new partner on the way to the customer
Cooperation with the "Delikat" store chain has become another stage in the development of UVG's partner network.
"Delikat" is a Ukrainian regional retail chain whose history began in Cherkasy in 1998. Today it brings together stores of various formats: from small neighbourhood stores to supermarkets and a hypermarket.
For UVG, this is an opportunity to expand its sales geography and present its produce to new customers.

"When we start growing vegetables, we understand that our work is only the beginning of their journey to the customer. What matters next is to store the harvest properly, prepare it for dispatch, and ensure supply. I am glad that a new reliable partner is joining this chain – the Delikat chain. Cooperation with "Delikat" is part of UVG's strategy to develop long-term partnerships with retail chains and to expand the availability of Ukrainian vegetable produce.
