UVG continues the implementation of a large-scale project to create a modern vegetable storage complex that will become an important element of its own produce storage infrastructure.
The new facility will make it possible to ensure stable, quality storage of vegetables over a long period after harvest.
The project provides for the construction of four separate storage buildings with a total area of 7,200 square metres. Once commissioned, the complex will be able to hold up to 10,000 tonnes of produce at a time.
Creating its own storage capacity is an important step in the company's development and allows it to control product quality not only during cultivation but also at the post-harvest storage stage. It is proper storage conditions that make it possible to preserve the marketable characteristics of vegetables as fully as possible and to ensure their stable supply to consumers throughout the season.
One of the advantages of the future complex will be its advantageous location, which will support efficient logistics and prompt shipment of produce to partners and customers. At the same time, modern technological solutions will ensure a high level of energy efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
According to the company, the construction of the complex is an investment not only in its own development but also in improving the stability of vegetable supply to the Ukrainian market. Implementing such projects contributes to the development of modern agricultural infrastructure and to strengthening the country's food security.
